A smirk on his lips, a gleam in his eyes and a sexy girl on each arm. Life was perfect. A guy could not ask for anything more. Kere was in heaven as more girls followed him around, wishing to be on his arm. But then his life became a living nightmare as everything went black.
Waking up, Kere groaned in frustration. His perfect life had been nothing more than a dream. Why couldn't something like that actually happen to him? Why can't he be confident like that just once? To stop blushing long enough to smirk at a pretty girl. Running a hand through his brown hair, Kere sighed and got ready for school before he was late.
Maybe wearing the school uniform different would help boost his self confidence. So for the first time the shy incubus left his tie at home and left the top two buttons undone. But the whole way to the school, Kere buttoned and unbuttoned them, trying to find out what looked best. In the end he left the two unbuttoned like he planned and headed into the school. Yet the moment the green eyed incubus stepped through the door, red covered his cheeks. Dropping his gaze to the floor, Kere tried not to be noticed by the others of the school, not that it was hard. Most never looked his way. Some incubus. He can't even use his powers of seduction to get a girl to look his way. Easily slipping into class, Kere sat down at his desk, nervously playing with the bottom of his jacket. All he had to do was walk up to a girl and smile but just the thought of looking at a girl made his face red.
Kere jumped when a chair slammed down beside him and the top incubus sat down. Laying his cheek on his hand and leaning on Kere's desk, Blaze smiled. Kere was worried he had done something wrong. Blaze never talked to Kere. Not once. And now he's only a few inches away.
“Kere. The adorable blushing incubus. How is it going with the ladies?”
Looking at his lap he shrugged.
“Oh come on. A good looking guy like you and not one?”
Kere began to shutter, “No.”
“Maybe I can help you out.”
Kere looked at Blaze shocked.
“After school. I'll meet you outside the school.”
Hopeful eyes watched as Blaze returned to his desk. The bell rang and the class filled with the others. Kere couldn't believe Blaze would offer to help him. Maybe it's a trick. Kere started to think he should just go home. The greened eyed incubus had enough problems without Blaze mocking him. The tip of Kere's tail twitched under his seat while he thought about it, forgetting to copy today's notes or even pay attention to the teacher. Not having much more to lose, the brown haired incubus decided to take his chances and meet up with Blaze after school.
At the last bell, Kere shyly and nervously made his way through the halls. For some reason, people where noticing him. His cheeks darkened as his green eyes fell to the floor. Holding his book tighter to his chest, Kere tired to stop shivering as he walked through the front doors. Slowly Kere looked around and spotted Blaze leaning against a tree with a group of girls around him. Maybe Kere could wait till they moved on but that idea was shattered the moment Blaze waved him over and every girl turned to look.
There was no turning back now. One foot after the other, Kere made his way over to Blaze who winked at the girls before they wondered off, giggling. Not able to help himself, Kere's eyes watched the girls till Blaze moved beside him. Jumping, he looked up at the better incubus and swallowed.
“There is my buddy. So this is schooling 101.” Blaze smirked.
Kere nodded, “Okay.”
Over the next few hours, Blaze taught Kere what he needed to know to be top incubus and how to make every girl melt with just a flash of his green eyes. Kere did the best he could to listen and learned quickly. But the lower incubus could not help but wonder why Blaze was being so nice out of the blue. This didn't seem to be a trick of any kind. Blaze knew just what to say or do to help Kere relax and focus. Almost like he had been like Kere once but that was crazy. He was a natural at getting girls. Only the kind of talent one is born with.
When it was too dark, Blaze told him to keep working at it and in no time Blaze and him would be fighting for the girls. Nodding, Kere headed home, thinking over his new lessons. Could this really be his answer? Would it truly work? Or was Blaze setting him up to fail? It seemed sincere but that doesn't mean it was. Shrugging, Kere decided it couldn't hurt to try. None of the girls looked at him anyway. What worse could they do? Even if they made fun of him at least they would notice him then. Being ignored was worse.
Back in his room, Kere's green eyes stared back at him in the mirror. He felt stupid but unbuttoned another button on his shirt and shifted his collar so it sat comfortably. After running his fingers through his hair at different angles, the shy incubus found a style he liked. With his hair brushed to the side, his head tilted slightly and his bright green eyes; Kere finished the look with a smirk. His face filled with shock. He looked so confident that Kere couldn't believe the guy staring at him was well himself. Not able to help it, the shy incubus tipped his head again and smirked.
Kere jumped in excitement. Blaze wasn't kidding. Trying out a few of the other lessons Blaze had shown the lower incubus, Kere was shocked to find he was more confident in himself. Impressed with himself, Kere made something to eat then headed for bed. For the first time, the shy boy looked forward to going to school. Maybe this was his chance to turn his luck around.
After following Blaze's rules and grabbing a piece of toast, Kere headed for school with a new found confidence. Standing tall, even his tail swung with confidence. Even though he still had red on his cheeks and nervously played with the bottom of the jacket. When he reached the front doors, Kere remembered what Blaze said. Taking a deep breath, Kere lifted his head and smirked before walking through the doors. His green eyes shined with seduction as he looked around. Everyone turned to look at the shy incubus. The males glared at him, a warning to stay away from their girl while the girls blushed and giggled.
Winking at a group, Kere's nervousness threatened to take over so he hurried to the classroom with dazzling love struck eyes staring at him. Collapsing into his chair, Kere worked on controlling his shivering. He told himself he was alone as he wrapped his arms around himself.
“I just did that. Every girl was staring at me. Me!”
A smile glued itself to Kere's lips. The whole day went amazingly. Kere was careful to stay away from the males of the school. He could take them on but he was not confident enough to think he could win. But the peace shattered when Kere opened his locked and the floor was covered in notes. Confused he picked one up and read it. His cheek darkened as he realized it was a very detailed love letter. Not able to finish reading what the girl wrote, Kere looked at the floor. He couldn't believe how many letters there where. There had to be one from every girl in school. Not wanting anyone to see, Kere worked quickly to pick them up, using his shirt as a basket.
“How's my buddy?”
Kere jumped up and hit his head on the bottom of the open locker door. Kere dropped the notes and grabbed in his head, wincing in pain. He stepped back and stood, rubbing his head. Looking up, he saw Blaze with his back against the lockers. Kere told him the lessons worked.
“Oh. I know. They are working a little too well for you. I don't mind helping you but you are stealing my girls. And well. I can't have that.”
Kere watched as Blaze looked the notes over then stood. Stepping back, Kere slipped on the paper and groaned in pain as he rubbed his back. Blaze walked up and at first Kere thought he was going to help but fear ran through him when Blaze glared at him. Laying a heavy boot on the shy incubus's chest, Blaze pinned Kere to the floor. Kere knew it was useless to try and get free so he stared up at the top incubus and waited for his punishment.
“This is my warning my little friend. Back off or I'll teach you your place.”
Kere nodded, shaking with fear. Slowly, Blaze removed his boot and helped Kere up. Blaze smiled like nothing had happened and Kere relaxed. He would go back to being shy and everything would be fine. But as Blazed turned away something caught his eye. Kere's green eyes watched the incubus in front of him bend over and pick up one of the notes. The green eyed boy blushed, having an idea of what was written inside and nervously waited for Blaze's sexual jokes but he just stood there.
“Where the hell did you get this?”
Without warning, Blaze turned and swung at Kere. He jumped back and Blaze just barely missed, slamming his fist into the open locker door. Kere's eyes went wide as Blaze went to attack him. Slipping again on the paper, Kere dropped to the floor with Blaze over him. Knowing there was no way the shy boy could take on the monster, Kere had to take him out fast and run for it. Shutting his eyes, already wincing in pain, Kere quickly thrusted his leg up between Blaze's. With a gasp of pain, the incubus hit the ground. The shy boy, pushed to his feet and stared down at his opponent. Whispers and gasps caught the shy boy's attention. Looking around, Kere's green eyes went big. A circle of people were watching.
Boys started chanting for them to fight but Kere had no hope of walking away from this fight but with the crowd, he had no hope of running either. Blaze was starting to get up so Kere had to choose. Win and walk away and hope it ends here. Or let Blaze beat him half to death. Blaze's eyes burned into the shy incubus and something about the chanting and having so many girls watching made Kere do something he never though he would. With one swing of his foot, Kere slammed his shoe into the side of Blaze's face, throwing him into the lockers.
Blaze was knock out cold and everyone went crazy with cheers. Kere knew he might have just signed his own death warrant but at that moment the shy incubus had become the hero of the school. Kere's green eyes lit up when he saw a group of girls break through the crowd. His tail twitched with excitement as he realized who they were. Blaze no longer ruled the school and with Kere now top incubus that meant the harem that use to belong to Blaze now was Kere's to claim as his own.
Tilt the head. Fix the collar. Shut the locker. Step over Blaze. Flash the smirk. Kere was now at the top and nothing could pull him down. Heaven was right in front of him. Dreams come true. Kere wanted nothing more than this day to never end.
Walking over to his new harem, the once shy incubus offered his arms for the love struck ladies. Worried this might just be another dream, Kere wanted to pinch himself but when one of the girls teasingly pulled his tail and pain shot through him, he knew this was all real. With sexy whispers, Kere blushed as he headed for the front door with the group of girls following. Kere could hear the males complaining about him stealing their girls but at the moment he just wanted to rub it in their faces that the boy they use to pick on was now better than them. So once at the doors, Kere turned back to the pissed off boys. With a flash of his smirk and a wink of his seductive eye, Kere and the girls walked out, leaving the boys to stare at the closing doors.
