Drawing Love

Once again she's drawing
A smile touches her lips as he appears
The one she longs for daily
Stealing her notebook
He looks over the drawing of himself
Smirking, he comments cockily
Taking her notebook back
she pushes him playfully
He knew what to do to make her smile
which was why she loved him so much
He wraps his arms around her
and kisses her with love
Young love never seemed to work
but they enjoyed every second
She could not ask for a better person
Love reflected in his eyes
which showed her he didn't either
They sit together on the floor
He tells her jokes and stories
She continues to draw
The lines and shadows
soon reveal the boy she loves
She smiles at the drawing
Something yanks her from her mind
Looking up at him
Her smile widens.
The one she dreams of
The one she draws
Is now and forever by her side
