Halloween Prank

Ryan was playing video games like normal when Anna let herself in and stood beside him. Of course he'd be playing games. It was his favorite thing to do besides tease the brown haired girl. She joined him on the couch and waited for him to finish his game before tempting to speak to him. Anna knew it was pointless because even if he heard her he would not reply.

Ryan jumped up and threw his hands into the air, “Yes! Beat my score!”

“Again? How many times have you beaten it now?” Anna lifted an eye brow.

“You are just jealous because I beat you every time. Face it. You suck.” He smirked.

A blush broke out across her cheeks, “I do not! Take that back!”

Brushing his white hair from his eyes since it fell when he jumped, Ryan sat back down. With his hands behind his head, Ryan continued to argue about who was the better gamer. Anna defended herself for she knew he was wrong. She was not a fan of games but that didn't mean she was horrible at them. The girl had beaten Ryan many times. But what caught her by surprise was the bet that Ryan made. With Halloween just a week away and neither of them having a costume, Ryan said whoever won two out of three would get to choose the other person's costume. Anna didn't want Ryan to think he was better than her but she also knew he'd pick something embarrassing for her to wear. Determined to win and show Ryan she was just as good she agreed.

“You'd look cute as a bunny.” Ryan chuckled.

“Shut-up!”

Anna's blush darkened as the boy started a new game. After choosing their fighter, the game began. The first two rounds went to Ryan. He started naming off different outfits. Maid, nurse, cat, and a few others Anna didn't hear. He was sure he was going to win and was already trying to pick his favorite costume. So many to choose from it would be hard to just pick one. But his smile faltered when Anna won. Now it was her turn to smirk happily as she started to name off her own list; nurse, cat, maid. Now it was time to get serious.

Ryan tried all his tricks yet some how Anna had beaten him a second time. With it tied that meant the next round went to the winner of the bet. The duo looked at each other. Ryan's smirk was replaced by a frown and Anna was now wearing her own evil smile. His blue eyes burned as he thought about the horrible things Anna planned on doing to him if she won. The girl's own brown eyes sparkled with the hope of winning. She would never let him live down the embarrassment she would put him through if she won.

With a click of a button the game restarted. Both players doing all they could to win. This was a fight that neither could risk losing yet they knew someone had to. Both pressed buttons with speed, trying to gain the advantage and after a few sly moves, Ryan was the one who came out on top. Jumping to his feet, Ryan held up his hands in victory. Anna couldn't even look at him. Now it was time for punishment. What the girl didn't know was Ryan had already picked out what she was going to wear.

“Okay. Let me hear it. What am I going to be? Please not the maid.” Anna huffed.

Smirking, “Nope. You'll just have to wait and see. You are going to look great, cutie. Don't worry.”

“Stop calling me that!”

Ryan moved close to her and grabbed her chin so she'd look at him, “Or what?”

Her blush spread to her whole face as she shut her eyes.

Letting her go and moving back to his seat on the couch, Ryan let her think he was going to kiss her till she had the guts to open her eyes and see he was just teasing. His smirk returned to his lips as he pictured Anna in her new costume. The boy knew she'd look super cute and could not wait to see the real thing. He would have to get a picture of them dressed up.

A week later: Halloween Night.

“Get out here Anna. You agreed to this.” Ryan sighed as he leaned against the wall across from the bathroom.

“I'm never coming out! You said I had to wear it and that was it.”

“But I have to see you in it so I know you're not lying.”

“Never! How dare you do this to me!”

Ryan chuckled.

“Shut-up!”

Ryan was tempted to kick the door down but didn't want to give Anna a heart attack so he continued to wait, “I have to see Anna.”

Mumbling a few things, she finally gave in. Fixing the shirt as much as she could, Anna unlocked the door and slowly opened it. Ryan stood and looked at her. Not able to stop himself, Ryan dropped to the floor and busted into laughter. Anna glared at him as she blushed. She hated him so much for making her dress up like this but a deal was a deal. On her head sat a small chef's hat. Her shirt sat straight across her chest but the shirt sleeves were fluffy and sat off her shoulders with a slice of pie on it. The skirt was on the shorter side and red which stood out against the white shirt. She worse normal shoes which was the only part she liked.

“A pie baker! I love it! Now you really are a cutie pie!” Ryan laughed even harder.

“Shut-up! I can't believe you!” Her blush darken even more.

Anna went to the kitchen to pour the bags of candy into a bowl for the trick-or-treaters while Ryan worked on composing himself then he went to get changed. He knew Anna hated her outfit so to make her feel better Ryan dressed up as a cat with ears and a tail. Of course he found a way to make it sexy but still wish he had the courage to dress in what he really wanted but his gilt was too much to fight off. So after drawing on the nose and whiskers, the boy walked out to the kitchen. At first Anna would not even look at him in fear of being mocked but when he became serious about her turning, she could not help but smile when she saw him. The rest of the night, they had a great time handing out candy and even had someone take a photo of them in their costumes.
