Stolen Treasure

After Melfara telling the school about Calles's stealing, Dakota was curious to find out what he stole from her. So the moment she was allowed to leave, the cat dashed for her dorm. Digging through her dresser, closet and under her bed, Dakota found nothing important missing. Letting out a sigh, the girl smiled. Calles must not have gotten to her yet. The cat was going to start locking her room from now on to keep him out. She really didn't want any of her stuff going missing.

Dakota began to put her room back together when she noticed her movie drawer wasn't closing. Opening it, the cat began to fix her movies when her eyes went wide. Calles stole her brand new movie. She had not even seen it yet but was really looking forward to it that night with a bowl of popcorn and Dean at her side. Growling, the girl got up and stormed out of her room to find the dragon. Pirate or not, Dakota would not allow him to steal her movies. She took great pride in her movies and she was going to make him give it back. It did not matter how big he was compared to the cat. She was not scared of him but he better be fearful of her.

Walking down a hall, the cat spotted Calles outside. Changing direction, the girl headed outside to face Calles and get her movie back. The cat flattened her ears in anger as she walked up to the dragon. Spotting the girl, Calles smiled and waved but his smile faded when he saw she was not happy.

“Hey Dakota. What's wrong?”

“Give it back. I want my movie back now! I have not even seen that one yet.”

The dragon smiled innocently, “I have no idea what you are talking about.”

“Don't play stupid. I want my movie. Give it back.” the girl started to sound like a child.

Dakota turned into her cat form. Pawing at Calles's boot, she hissed. Laughing at the little cat, Calles continued to claim not to have her movie. The cat began to beg for her movie back, pouncing on Calles's boot. The dragon couldn't help but find the gray fur ball adorable as she jumped around and pawed at his feet. Hissing once more, Calles finally gave in but would not allow her to have her movie back. He tried to explain he couldn't help himself but the cat would not hear it. Like a little kid wanting her toy back, Dakota begged for it back again and again.

Sitting and looking up at the pirate, Dakota flattened her ears and made her eyes big and said please repeatedly in a cute voice. No one could resist an adorable kitty not even the mighty dragon before her. Rubbing the back of his head, Calles gave in. Getting excited, Dakota turned back and watched as Calles removed her movie from one of his many pockets. Thanks him a bunch of times, the cat held her movie tightly to her chest. Smiling and back to her normal self, Dakota forgot about punishing the pirate and rushed to her dorm to but the movie back so Dean and her could watch it that night.

But that evening, Dakota made popcorn and set her kitten on her bed. He purred as his owner rubbed his head. Smiling, the girl kneeled and opened her movie drawer. Looking through them, Dakota couldn't find her new one. Double checking, the cat growled. Calles has stolen her movie again. She was sure he was in his room or hiding somewhere, laughing at his new stole treasure. Screaming his name in anger, the night ended with Calles's name echoing through the empty halls of the school.
